I don’t have a large piece of land or even a big garden. What I do have are alleyways surrounding my house, which sits in the middle of a long plot on a corner in a suburb about an hour out of the city of Cape Town. One of the things that drew us to this specific house (even though it was a little worse for wear) we’re the three fruit trees along the back boundary, only a 3.5 meter space behind the house. I’ve always envied people who had their own fruit trees and it was wonderful to finally be able to have my own.

The last few weeks I've been working on ways to reduce our aveerage spending by finding more cost effective alternatives to our expenses.I have for years hoarded and prized the most delicious potato bake recipe which I only bring out for special occasions as a treat. It is rich and delectable but is expensive as it uses half a litre of fresh cream. With the rising costs of food due to inflation, I wanted to find an alternative that was still tasty but didn't require taking out a mortgage. Here I'm going to include both recipes and a costing comparison.

DISPAREUNIA (CUANDO EL PLACER SE CONVIERTE EN DOLOR)[ESP/ENG]
Talking about sexuality is a term that encompasses a set of psychobiological steps that, depending on the culture of each person, we cannot give a definitive answer as to normal or abnormal sexual responses. It is a subject of great controversy since it is supported by social and biological factors. Some couples remain silent when dyspareunia occurs and do not seek help either because they are full of taboos about sexuality. Faced with dyspareunia, they prefer to remain silent and not seek help from specialists. Talking about sexual health is talking about physical and mental health which are directly associated.

I made horsetails' tsukudani. "Tsukudani (佃煮)" means preservable food boiled down in soy sauce in Japanese. I saw many horsetails on the south side of my property. They looked very healthy. I was planning to make tsukudani so, I picked and cooked them. Some recommend picking thick mature ones for tsukudani. I avoid them if they look too damaged or black. Just pick them from the bottom parts. If you pick at least 30-40 horsetails, they should be enough for two people.

Bit of a change today though because the were out of my favourite tipple Tangle Foot so it was a pint of Badger Bitter. A classic bitter and at 3.7 %ABV its not too strong if your driving, with Celeia, Bobek and Dana hops it certainly is very tasty.

#Monomad challenge: Highlight of some Black and White Photographs from our visit to the UK 🇬🇧
The first photo I show you is taken in Stamford UK, the road behind me is Bath Row. Opposite the towns meadow you can’t see in this photo but it is to the right of me. We see the Stamford bridge and its reflections in the water accompanied by the buildings reflections. This is one of those photographs that just looks better in black and white 😎

There's no alternative to give thyself the joy of fulfillment | Boredom and life.
While reading some of the posts in this community about boredom one thing came to my mind and that is, we must make some alternative plan to get out of boredom. There's no way that boredom will go over time. We all know that we must do something to get over it. The best way is to replace it with something effective. Like giving thyself the joy of fulfillment.

If you are on a weekend trip, do not carry too many things that you will never need. So I suggest packing smart for your trip rather than taking showpieces with you. As far as I am concerned, I am a travel freak, and when it comes to traveling, the first thing that comes to my mind is, “What’s in my bag?”

Contest #79 Do you believe in angels and demons? ✨ |ESP | ENG|
Every week I like to participate in the contest of this community C/Ladies of Hive and answer the questions that they leave us but this time I will only comment on one question because with the other I do not feel identified or comfortable answering because I am not as religious as other people who do have that spiritual connection with the religion they practice and feel this faith within them.

Some of them were making a few extra dollars while in town installing a new Growcrete fascia for one of the storm walls. It was backbreaking work but the extra pay was much appreciated. Life on the windfarms is tougher even than life than on the seaweed farms. The hardest work though, is maintaining the huge wave power generators that sit on some of our most inhospitable coast. Workers there pretty well live underwater for their stint and are often surly and in need of watching when they come into port.
