OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 491st compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Cultura de Salud y Bienestar en mi País. [Esp - Eng]

Certainly the arrival of the coronavirus shook every corner of our planet and, above all, made us realize how unprepared we were (and still are) to deal with a problem of such magnitude. It was really terrifying for me to see how the most developed countries with advanced health systems succumbed to something uncontrollable. It was then that I said to myself, "What can we expect here in Venezuela? God have mercy on us all.

Decorating the frame of a small mirror with clay ( A cute little coffee bean mirror)

I greet all my friends warmly. Yesterday I talked about the statues you can see in Myanmar Buddhist supply stores. Next time I go to the market I will tell you about other stores. Today I made a little clay art. Today I made a cute frame using some clay on a small mirror. For today I used air dry clay. The frame I made included two peaches and coffee beans. I made coffee beans in the shape of a circle around the mirror. Now before I talk about the steps, I will tell you about the materials needed.

Does having a good pronunciation really matter?

Despite my accent, people understood me very well, but there were certain words that have a specific pronunciation which gave me in return weird faces from those who were hearing me. In these situations, I didn't know who felt more ashamed, if me for the fact I didn't know how to pronounce the word correctly or them because they feel bad because they couldn't understand me, those situations stressed me a lot, but we have to know that when we are learning we don't have to be ashamed of trying, because those failures will let us learn and get better at it.

From my neighbor's point of view- Their influence on my music

At the time, we were living in a fenced compound where my music, as elementary and annoying as it must have been back then (now that I think of it) could not really be heard by my actual neighbors around, but what was my Forster family there for? They were the closest thing to neighbor I had, including our security guard back then, he usually had 3-5 people living with him in his small house- which now that I think about it, may be part of the reason why we were robbed twice in our home there 😆, but we survived all that so it’s all good. We lived there from about 1996/1997- 2010/2011 (I’m sure it fits into that range at least .

[Eng/Spa] Bobby's Great Wit

Bobby's story and wit will teach us that appearances can be deceiving.

That many times we tend to judge others based only on what we can see.
However, maybe in the end we will get a big surprise!
This is the story of "Bobby's Great Ingenuity".

Plant based Easter roast dinner

We don't celebrate Easter. Even if we wanted to we would have been working Easter weekend for the last few years. This year we were celebrating that we actually had Easter Sunday off. The restaurant where we work recently decided to close Sundays in trade for Wednesdays. Although we don't celebrate the holiday, I have attended quite a few Easter dinners at other peoples homes throughout my life.

Redefining Process And Progress - Steps Rather Than Leaps

I'm not sure which part of me internalized this message, or where it actually came from, but SOMEWHERE DEEP in my brain, my Being, I have the idea that if I read all the rules, watch and observe others and read ALL the guidelines exactly and make enough lists, then I will complete a complex task in one neat jump. A leap. From the bottom step to the top, effortlessly.

Street foods, my love! 💛

This became my favorite ever since my first bite on it when I was in Daycare. Do you imagine how young was I that time? I was 5 years old when this street food was introduced to me. Aside from school, I usually see and eat this whenever we go to church too. At my young age, if you'll bring me to church, I can't promise you that I will settle down to one place. It's either I wander around, run around or I'll go look for a food to eat. It's typical for a child's behavior but ever since I tried this street food or snacks, I've been looking for them to buy whenever we go to church.

Trespassing IL Corso Lifemalls

One weekend in March, the husband suggested we visit Il Corso Mall. Back when I was still pregnant, we used to come here to just stroll around, there were times when we go here so my husband could also practice his driving skills.
