OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 277th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Yesterday I made little cute flowers with colored paper. Today I also created something cute with color paper. What I made today was the lovely carrots. I just wanted to make the cute carrots with colored paper about a week ago. But I'm running out of orange color paper in that time, so I made some cute carrots today. These paper carrots are so cute and also easy to make.

This last Saturday of the month, I will not miss the opportunity to share what I experienced in our virtual gathering and learning session with Bisdak from Cebu, Philippines. My Hive account is at 3 years of age but I wasn't consistent and active before that's why I missed a lot of good things here in the community. I could still recall about 3-4 months ago, I commented to @ybanezkim26 post about their virtual meet-ups with other Cebuanos or Cebuanas. Because of my lack of confidence, I wasn't able to attend since I am still adjusting and absorbing all the interactions I faced off. But lately, I saw a post about inviting Bisaya speakers for "Hive Talks: Beyond blogging" even though I am in the stage of nervousness because it's going to be my first time to meet them and see their beautiful faces I decided to join and tried my best to free that night just for them.

Today I turned on the player and put on that music that I like so much, that music from before, those songs that have beautiful lyrics, that relax, I set out to clean the house, do a lot of things I had overdue, suddenly begins to play a song by Roberto Carlo that I have heard many times, but I had not heard, I had not noticed that beautiful lyrics so true, in fact when the song ended I put the brush aside and sat down to think, I went running to write, the lyrics go like this:

For graphic material, I would like to share the art of two very good friends of mine, the siblings Yara and Diego who are a painter and a 3D designer respectively. Their art is very inspired by extraterrestrial life and forms, planets, realities. Their creativity amazes me constantly and makes me think, besides the fact that they are just wonderful human beings and very close to my heart.

During all the time that I had the fortune to share with my life partner (who passed away just two years ago) we used to intertwine our fingers to sleep. Whether he hugged me or I hugged him, we always had one of our hands linked with that of another. However, there was a time when almost every night, our son (who by then was about two or three years old) would go from his room to ours, lie on our bed, let go of our hands and put the yours in mine. As I always get up around two or three in the morning, I go to the bathroom and then I continue to sleep. When I wake up, if I felt very long fingers on my hand, it was Orlando's hand. But when, instead, I felt a small hand between mine, I knew that our son had gone to our room again.

The very first thing that strikes to me is her eyes. Only when you get closer you see an empty feeling. Looking into her eyes closer is not the thing we get every dad. Here are some photographs closer than normal life.

I usually ready frame my photos as I take them - it comes naturally to me somehow. Most times, I leave it be. But I usually can't leave well enough alone... (ahem!) and like trying out new framing, crops, zoom-ins when processing the photos before posting.
