I stumbled upon "Arise" by Don Moen, and it's been stuck with me ever since 🎶. The lyrics, especially "One thing we ask of you, one thing that we desire, and as we worship you, Lord, come and change our lives" hit me right in the feels. It's a cry from my heart, a plea for God's presence and transformation 🙏.

Last Tuesday, I received a call from the cemetery informing me that seven years have passed and I need to arrange for the exhumation of my father’s remains (he passed away in 2019). Exhumation is the process of removing the remains from the ground after a legal period has elapsed in order to free up space. At this cemetery, the period is seven years. So, I went to the Parish Council to handle the bureaucratic process associated with this final step. I went to say goodbye to my father’s remains.

There are curiosities that nature offers us daily, which we sometimes overlook, but they are so incredible that they only occur in certain places. That being said, in my grandmother's backyard there's a guava tree, relatively young, growing among a few others. I remember when it was smaller, people said to cut it down because, supposedly, due to that detail I mentioned earlier, it wouldn't thrive. But my grandmother always believed it would bear fruit, and although she didn't live to see it (she passed away a few years ago), she was right not to get rid of the tree.

Claus Knapp: the pediatrician who stopped a tragedy [Eng-Esp]
Just a few days ago, Dr. Claus Knapp Boetticher passed away. I found out from one of his sons, who told me personally one Sunday afternoon. That day, I was unable to accompany the family due to my own family obligations; I hope to make up for my absence in some way by writing down my memories of one of the most brilliant people I have ever known.Accompanying the text are two videos, which are a very important par

We live in an era where the 'I' seems to be the centre of gravity for each individual. However, we forget that to climb a mountain with fewer stumbles, you need that helping hand to hold you when you slip or share their water with you. If we look closely, that unjustified 'self-sufficiency' is a thread that often ends up isolating us, leaving us on a kind of desert island... surrounded by people who simply stopped seeing us because of our own actions.

It's not enough to wait for the aroma of baking to attract the neighbors; in the digital age, if a cake isn't seen on Instagram, in status updates, or on Facebook, it's as if it doesn't exist. The importance of promotion lies, firstly, in visibility. Social media, when used well, is the perfect showcase for a bakery. Even when a page doesn't have many followers, shares and favorable comments boost its reach.

This film is a drama that deals with two rather controversial topics: racism and feminism. After the Second World War, the former Soviet Union and the United States began the Cold War, fighting for global dominance in terms of influence, a struggle between communism and capitalism. Among the struggles that began between the two great nations in the 1960s was the space race. This film tells the story of three African-American women, Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson, who worked at the United States Space Agency, known as NASA. The 1960s was a time when racism and even sexism were at their peak, but these three women changed what was believed at the time. This is a story that had not been told before the film was released, a plot that is worth watching from beginning to end.

In that photo, there is a small boat resting on the sand, since the Orinoco River was low at that time, and we traveled to see that place. There I am with my brothers taking some photos that many years later came to light, something that seemed boring to me at the time and is now valuable. The landscape is a work of art: trees, calm water, and a wide sky that gives the feeling that the day is just beginning. At that moment, everything was simple, there were no problems, and we could leave the house and explore a new place and enjoy the joy of being together.

The construction of this magnificent, and for the period when it was built, modern and one of the largest congress centers in this part of Europe, began in 1976 and lasted until 1979. The reason for the accelerated construction was the meeting of the Conference on European Security and Cooperation (CESC), which was held in Belgrade in 1977. Today, this organization is known as the OSCE (OSCE).

Every book has a story, and here is the story behind some of my books. 📚
always tell stories, as if I had lived many lives, and perhaps I did, it is quite possible, but I believe that the things I have always have something to tell because now I only keep what has great meaning for my heart.
