OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1394th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

My Weekend Experience hiking in "Sierra Calderona". WEEK 178.

Today on this Saturday, me and some friends decided to go for a nice hike! It was a 13 km hike and about 500 to 600 m high difference.

So we met up at 8 am and drove to the starting point around 30 km, which took us about 40 min from Valencia. Not too far, if it wasn't because I got distracted and took a wrong turn at some point haha. Luckily enough we could go back to the right road easily.

Beer Tasting: Golden Bread NEIPA And 5th Element Imperial IPA

A nice chilled surprise, two cans of the heavyweight category (if you follow my beer posts, two weeks ago I picked the two cheapest beers I could get in the shops).

But that's another story. I put them in the fridge this morning on purpose. Two top-quality IPAs, one from a Slovenian brewery, and one from a Croatian brewery. They were kept cold all day. And I can't wait :)

WEEK 178: A weekend of entertainment and learning for children and those of us who are not so young anymore.

Entertaining three children during the weekend can be a complicated or simple task and many times we think that we can only achieve it by spending a lot of money, but in truth we can do it in an economical way and surely more fun than playing with video games or screens.

First of all, I would like to point out that I don't have children, but I am going to base myself on the experience of looking after my 8 year old cousin during the summer months and I will explain to you what activities I would do during a full weekend and which are totally extrapolable in the case of 3 children in my care.

Freediving at Fat's Aquapark Resort in Barili, Cebu

The Philippines had a lot of holidays recently due to the Elections, All Saint's Day, and All Soul's Day. Due to this, my college friends who were also my dive buddies organized a freediving excursion on All Soul's Day, as none of us had work on that day. We were looking for a different spot because every time we go for a freediving trip, we always go to Kontiki in Lapu-Lapu City and we want to experience something new. We had choices like in Alegria where there are awesome underwater statues but it was too far, and as well as in Barili, a waterpark but nearer than the other one. So we opted to go to Barili this time.

Manny's Garden: A city of fairies at the heart of Mt. Dulang-Dulang

I'm still in the middle of our six-day climb here in the province of Bukidnon. Mobile phone signal is very low in the mountains but fortunately, we have a one-day break to go back to civilization.

Truth is, my head's still in the clouds. The experience from the last four days continues to overwhelm me — in a very good way. More than being delightful, it was a meaningful one. So while I have enough time on my hands, let me share with you some of these moments.

(ESP-ENG) Decoración de una CARPETA ESCOLAR✏️📏

In one of my courses one of the classes were ideas of how to decorate folders, by that time I practiced making folders for my classes or my sister's, this time even with a little more practice I decorated one for my niece, she had to deliver some plans so she bought a simple folder, which she asked me to decorate, without further ado....

🍫 Chocolates St. Moritz, un premio con reseña de productos / Chocolates St. Moritz, an award with product review 🍫

They told me they would bring it to my house, and a few days later they called me in the morning because the truck was on its way, how nice! That day and several more I would have lots of candy to share with my family.

✨️🍑A fabulous antioxidant drink with Peach and Lemon🍑✨️.[Eng][Esp]

The two main ingredients I used were peach and lemon. These fruits are characterized for containing and providing vitamin C . Especially the peach is a source of vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Rich in fiber that together with all the components mentioned above, make this fruit a powerful food with benefits and anti-oxidant properties.

Eating Steak On a Spooky Season | Girls Day Out

While we're still in the spooky November, my girl friends and I decided to eat steak at Luzern Steakhouse. It's my first time eating in this restaurant and fortunately, it didn't disappoint us. Their steak is premium and can really be distinguished from that of a normal or inferior quality. We wanted the steak to be medium rare to vibe with the spookiness but we decided to have it redone into medium well because we can't stand the blood in the steak. We also tried their caesar salad and spaghetti aglio olio.

A Unique Large Cargo Aircraft

Well my normal workday ended at 4:30 p.m.on Friday. We had to come back in a little later to offload this aircraft in the evening. It was a simple offload just 3 cargo containers and 15 passengers. This is the first time I seen this aircraft being so under utilized. If it was an all pallet load this aircraft can take 36 of them. To be prepared for this aircraft the following equipment had to be in place: aircraft loader (25K K-loader), bus, stair case truck, refueling trucks, boxed truck (for loose baggage), and some ground maintenance equipment.
