OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1350th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Yesterday I wanted to keep a promise I had made to my partner from the beginning when we were not even thinking about moving and living together, and that was that when that happened at least once a month, we would make his favorite food "pasticho". And yesterday was the day, to welcome "October", I made a delicious eggplant pasticho of which today I bring you the recipe and the tutorial so you can recreate it at home.

It seems incredible that we are starting the month of October. How the year has passed! In the blink of an eye we will be talking about the end of year holidays. I love playing with flavors, and I confess that at first the recipe was for strawberries, but I tried the ones I have at home, and their flavor did not convince me, so I remembered some friends who sell gourmet fast food, and one of their special hamburgers included pineapple sauce, so I decided to experiment, plus I imagined the flavor, and my mouth was watering.

Oatmeal, it's not fun without any preparation. I always feel bored enjoying oatmeal that is not processed into something. This time I will prepare an oatmeal dish made into pancakes. As for other ingredients, I use bananas as a component of the ingredients that combine these delicious pancakes. Actually, I am implementing a simple diet at home, with a calorie deficit that is appropriate for my body's needs. This is not an excessive diet, it just reduces enjoying random snacks beyond my needs. The method is actually quite simple, limiting consumption of excessively fatty dishes, and reducing dishes that can make my weight increase. Hehe I hope this will get the best results for maintaining my healthy eating pattern.

A few days ago I decided to place fiber optics in my house from the company Inter, where they offer a very good package of services for different areas of the State, where when I went to consult their offices they told me that I must have a router compatible with fiber optics and when I left I went to see the models they sold. When I arrived at a store near my house they showed me several models with different designs and features and, due to the budget I had, I decided to purchase the Mercusys AC1200. It is a pretty good and at the same time economical equipment for anyone who wants to buy a good router, as it has 4 antennas of 5dBi for a greater range of WiFi range, in addition to transmitting a great internet speed as it has two bands, one of 2.4ghz and another of 5ghz, reaching higher speed with the latter. In addition to having great features such as parental control and offering a guest network, its installation and configuration is very easy, where you simply enter the link that appears in the manual and quickly configure the router, such as its SSID (router name) and the password you want. It also has MU-MIMO technology which, according to what it says on the box, transmits the connection to several connected devices simultaneously, something I found quite attractive.

I am doing just 5 courses this semester and honestly, it feels like it is more than that. I don’t really understand the educational system in Nigeria, but I really hope to have a taste of how it is like in other countries. Most lecturers here make courses look so hard and complicated, even when those courses could have been really enjoyable.

That changed thanks to the fact that I accompanied my younger brother to the renewal of his identity card, and unlike other larger SAIME (Administrative Service of Identification, Migration and Foreigners) offices that are in front of some street or avenue in the city with little nature around them, the headquarters we attended is a trailer and is in a more open space, full of trees, plants and flowers, with the frequent visit of cute dragonflies, butterflies and bees. The sky was also beautiful that day, so all in all it was a great delight to behold.

It was Sunday morning when we went to Bogo City to buy essential things for our humble abode. One of those is feeds for our pigs which seemed to be our weekly routine. Either we bring our children or just us. This time, it's only me and my husband. We feel hungry when we're heading north so I suggested him to a certain place where this was his first and my third time to be here.

It's an evening before my birthday when my husband decided to cook Biko. We will offer this food to our church mates who will do serenading early in the morning as our usual practice within our church community.

When I was younger, I didn't understand people who liked Lasagna. I just didn't get it since when I was a kid and even an teenager the idea of bechamel sauce and bologna sauce in one same dish. But once my mom cooked a deliciouse dish that looked similar to a lasagna that once I tried it made me happy: Potato cake. I remember the first day I tasted I was delighted by the soft texture united with the cheese crust and all the perfect mix flavors.
