OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1122nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

I would like to introduce you with the longhorn beetle, I think this is also the second time I make a post about this beetle, but this time I found this beetle at my parent's house and the size of this beetle is a little bit bigger than the last one.

I found it hiding in the branch in one of the plantations in the garden. I was, as usual, out for a photo hunt, and then notice this guy after flipping some leaves chasing a small spider. The spider was gone, but I have this beetle to photograph.

Today in this little corner of the world where I am in my beloved town of Carúpano the day is beautiful with a radiant sun, but the heat is so overwhelming that it is inevitable not to want to take a refreshing drink so to quench this thirst and tremendous heat I have prepared a very nice and delicious cool drink, a Tamarind Juice.

What an honor it has been, is and will be, to be here today, April 21, celebrating five years in my beloved hive. You may wonder why beloved, how much I have learned, how many people I have met, what hive has left me, how it has changed my day to day life, what I have achieved and what I expect from #hive in the years to come?

Since I was a child I have always been a very curious, observant, critical and perfectionist person. I remember with great pride that since school, my parents never bothered to check my notebooks to see if I had my homework done since I was always very responsible with my homework. As I got older I also learned that keeping my room clean and tidy; my clothes washed, folded and put away was also my responsibility. I didn't see it as a burden or a nuisance because I like order.

When it comes to interacting with others, these kids are poor. They are shy and cautious. They always run away when they see strangers. They see themselves as different in society because of living in a remote area. They are always careful about talking and afraid to express their sentiments to others.

We need to prepare them for their ability and skills, so when I'm teaching, I have to contextualize and make instructions and directions simpler than I used to. They typically have parents with no formal schooling because they live in a distant place, and education is not their top concern due to poverty. And the majority of them are unable to support their children academically.

Hello friends, happy Tuesday, today I want to share with you the preparation and tips on how to make a delicious fish stew tortilla with extra fried plantain!

Recently, I've been more focused on traveling and trying out different beers than sharing my experiences through blogging. However, let me take you on a journey to the Chyše Castle and its brewery - my friends and I decided to stop by for some refreshments on our way back from visiting the Church of Ghosts a couple of weeks ago. Located at the edge of the Karlovy Vary region in the Sudetenland, Chyše was mostly inhabited by Germans before the majority of them were expelled after WWII. This resulted in a 50% drop in the local population between 1930 and 1950. Presently, Chyše is more of a small village with only 550 residents. Nonetheless, it boasts a magnificent castle, a crafted brewery, and a sizable monastery, unfortunately not accessible to the public due to its poor condition. Let's begin with the castle.

I already introduced you to the microbrewery L'Entêté (The Stubborn) on the previous BeerSaturday (BeerSaturday 302 - La Farouche (L'Entêté)). What to remember founded in 2019, the brewery uses grains that grow directly on their land. I like this principle.

For the record, I always try to retrieve the photos taken during the tour with my phone but after a fall the screen is completely dead. Normally I don't take pictures with my phone but with my camera. But that day I had forgotten to put the SD memory card 😤.

Hello dear community, for a long time I was about to check if sowing some seeds of any fruit or vegetable would grow in a garden but in the balcony of my house since I live in an apartment, as you understand there is no soil on the floor, nor the sun hits the plants directly and you have to water them with a container every day.
