@modernzorker has some varied tastes, and he shares them all with us in his reviews of books, movies, comics, and more. Often times the things he chooses to review take a horror turn, which I love. He also includes reviews of some fan favorite things like Dr. Who and Die Hard, as well. I would venture to guess that he also has the most impressive laser disc collection of anyone you know. In this post he reviews the 1989 book, Into the Pit, which he rates as, "Two grotesque sewer hands out of five."

@Uttambarman draws two watercolor paintings of Dhaka which is the busiest port in terms of passenger traffic in Bangladesh.
He is very good at mixing different levels of colors to create fascinating details. He also uses different moisture renderings to create the depth of field of foreground and background.
If you want to learn more about Dhaka and want to enjoy the beautiful artworks, you won’t want to miss this post.

Watercolor can be very challenging even with the right tools and paper.@barski, unfortunately, did not have the watercolor paper at hand to work with, but still wished to give it a go and the result still turned out amazing despite struggling with printer paper quickly deforming by the touch of water. @barski loves using a ballpoint pen for his sketching and found this pen&watercolor combination really fun to experiment with. Will the sharks catch up with the fisherman?

Homecoming - WATERCOLOR ART

These cute drawings make you think they are the usual comic strips that you see with a typical conversation. But no. I enjoyed reading the first three drawings and when I reached the last one, it opened my eyes. What a deep message this has. It speaks about acknowledging your weaknesses and learning to use your strength to overcome those. We have our own ways of solving our problems. Doesn't matter if it's a common way. As long as you are comfortable with your way, the result is all that matters. Well done!

From this post by @amberyooper we learn how much planning is required to plant seeds in order to grow your own food. From actually buying the seeds to deciding that the Corn must be planted first so the Beans won't outgrow them... It might look like a simple plot of land, but it definitely comes with a lot of research and knowledge, I'm sure of it!
