OCD DAILY - Issue #183
Welcome to the 183th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #183 highlights content from ten (10) Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues it's search throughout Steemit to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found you ten new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are provided by newer Steemit users, that may not have the audience which their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to help provide that audience, and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
The nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!
All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
We will start this issue with a really awesome post curated by @elteamgordo (me) from
@phil79 who made an epic journey through Iceland. At this moment this is a 3 part post and all of them it’s worth your time and attention. In the link we’re sharing, the Part 2, we can enjoy lakes, waterfalls, a volcano, hot springs and the Northern Lights so… what are you waiting, just click the link!
A few years ago we all hear the Gangnam Style Song but what not all of us know is that the song is based on an actual neighborhood and it’s a really cool one. Just take a look at the next post curated by @cabelindsay of a day visit to this place from
@luxstatic . It also contains photos from D Museum, a modern art place with the "Plastic Fantastic" exhibit.
The next post was found by @ashleykalila and it’s a beautiful piece of crypto inspired art. It comes at a time when we need a little color in our beloved coins. Created by
@federacion45 and inspired by the Slothicorn movement its just a mesmerizing piece to help you to let time pass by.
Choo Choo! What a fun tittle for a post of a really fun day, or at least that’s how I imagine it was. Curated by @jznsamuel this publication contains stunning pictures as a result of a photo shoot by
@mterrisphoto in a train museum in the Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
For our next post, curated by @howtostartablog, we will bring you some tips by
@siren87 to plan your next epic trip. There are people that might enjoy the planning part more than the trip itself and even if you don’t, you will find this post very useful. Also a good plan will help you save some money and also could improve your experience.
Today our curator @futurethinker share with us a climbing day in the Alps by
@danielapetk. She climbed the Breithorn a 4,164 m high peak and according to her, one of the easiest in the Alps Above 4,000 m. But not because it's easier, it's less beautiful than other peaks, just take a look at the amazing photos inside the post.
Alpine adventure. Breithorn peak ascent from Cervinia, Italy
The next one is an interesting article and it might help if you’re bored. Curated by @mk40 , the user
@roselifecoach give us some thoughts of about the change of meaning of the expression "I am bored". Boredom is no longer in reference to the immediate present. Rather it is a reflection of the life we lead.
Why Boredom Appears in Our Life. What Boredom is Trying to Tell Us?
The next post was curated by @gniksivart and it’s a poem written and illustrated by
@valerie15 and I hope to get this right because I’m not good with poetry. I will say that it is a fatalism poem of a third witnessing love going somewhere else and hoping for fate not to be fulfilled.
If you are one of those wondering why my dad force me to put a box between an electric appliance and the plug, here is why! Curated by @jeanpi1908 the author
@mike11 explains in detail why we need a Voltage Regulator. Feel free to go and read the post, but spoiler alert if you don’t use one all your appliances and equipment will burn!
For our Introduceyourself seccion, @ma1neevent brings us
@alvibokz15 he is 26 years old and he’s from Cebu City in Philippines. He is an Information Technology Graduate, also loves to travel and he’s a true believer in the LORD and Steemit. Please welcome him and give some love to the post.
This concludes today’s edition of the OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.
We hope you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from these content posts, as provided by the @ocd curators.
The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.
