'm in the middle of building a new deck, this time leaving nature's domain aside and thus adapting to my new composition with the goddess of deception, Ludia, as I mentioned in my previous article (which I forgot to share in the Gods on Chain community; mea culpa).

We stand again at the gates of another weekend ranked event. In order to know where your going to have to know where you have been. This morning we reflect on the deck we played last weekend and show off its capability in a live game. Then we round it all off opening the 10 booster packs we earned from our 14/25 record with the deck last weekend. Let me know in the comments below what you think of the deck. Finally getting around to making this post. The support I've received for the Year of the Gods event and the GODS NFTs is incredibly overwhelming and I couldn't be more thankful and grateful for the opportunity I've landed on. Here's some background about me.

So this weekend I will not be able to play my ranked matches as early as I usually do, but I have already decided probably what deck I am going to be using this upcoming week so I wanted to share that with you.

Last week, I tried my hand at playing Control Nature after the Sage of Renewal rework and got a pretty good result of 19/25. However, I theorized that the strength of Control Nature was artificially higher last week than what it actually is due to people not knowing how to play against it since it only gained popularity recently. After all, it isn't that strong of a control deck when compared to alternatives like Board Wipe Death or Control War. That being said, the meta still contains many mid-range decks, and I managed to score a cool 19/25 this week as well! Follow me as I talk you through my Weekend Ranked experience.

Another Weekend Rank, another record: the 24 wins 🤩! Not only that was an amazing personal achievement, I also made top 10 two weeks in a row 😎. Last time I did this well was nearly a year ago and the Meta wasn't this competitive and crowded (but that's a good thing 😄).

Gods Unchained's largest prize pool tournament so far, The Infinite Mana League S1 Main Event (8MLS1ME for short, lol), just wrapped up, with [Octopus] Geno taking down everything. At 8M and E1337, we want to make these tournament series recurring, hence the "S1" for Season 1. Season 2, which will be some time in 2022, will be a new series with potentially different tournaments with different formats. Team leagues? High-roller events? Region-specific tournaments to facilitate faster matchups? Definitely thinking about it ;).

Here is my first look at the YOTG bracket, making some predictions and giving an overview of the tournament and rules!

I did only 11/25 and left Mythic. I was changing cards and decks then... At the end of the weekend, I have got total wins 55... This is certainly "What a mortal!" 😀
