Canada, much of the world knows very little about this land mass north of the United States. We sit here quietly doing our thing while the world watches the US.
We’re cool with that, you guys have no idea of the plots we could be launching. Or have launched. Even the conspiracy theorists haven’t caught on to us.
Did you know the creator of Superman was Canadian and Metropolis was inspired by Toronto?
We have some pretty decent comic creators up here.
We also have some great comedians. Some of them you know like; Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Martin Short, Howie Mandel, Seth Rogan, Rich Little, Michael J. Fox etc.
Canadians are good at laughing at themselves and others (politely of course)
I am a Canadian. A very proud Canadian. Most Canadians are proud, we just don’t yell it as loud as our southern neighbours. Well, we might, but they are like 10x the population we have, so they yell louder.
Many people think of us as cold. No, not our personalities, our temperatures. Some people are surprised to learn, we have summer and it can get quite hot up here.
Stereotypes see Canadians as very polite. We may not be as brash as some Americans can be, but trust me, we can be ignorant assholes with the best of ignorant assholes. Just check out this Canadian mugging.
