Hey, great question. I ride the gravelbike for 3 years now and I have to admit, it is the best thing for my purpuses. But it depends on where you live. I live in the big city and have lots of construction sites and hardly any good bike lanes. With a pure racing bike I would have no fun on the way out of town. With the Gravelbike no problem. So I can also use sore dirt roads or unpaved roads. It's great fun. In hard terrain you are better off with the mountain bike. So if you live in the woods, the gravel bike is not for you.
