Don't trust anyone but the One who entrusted you with life, essence, and identity,
Whose blueprint and design is the architecture of your being,
and infused your existence with the DNA of purpose,
Crafting your destiny like a magnificent edifice to thrive against the winds of change.
Don't trust anyone but the ones who love you more than you deserve,
who cherishes you more than you're worth,
accepting you, flaws and all when there are a billion options in the world,
choosing you wholly and loving you as their own soul.
Don't trust anyone but the ones who'll bend their knees in secret to see you rise,
who'll stand in the gap of your vulnerabilities so you'll never fall,
and taste the agony of Gethsemane just to see you smile,
never flinching from being the support system of your destiny.
Don't trust anyone but the ones who'll sacrifice much from the little they have,
Never try to prove what they're not but to show you're worth more,
walking with you through life's darkest tunnels,
through tough mountains and rough valleys,
in prayers, tears, sweats, teases, and laughter.
Don't trust anyone but the one who'll never leave you stranded in the ditch of betrayal,
the one who'll never play the game of denial or blame you for falling so short,
The world's full of many foes masquerading as emotional trustees and best friends out there;
It's a wisdom way to trust God with your life,
and the very few ones who are really worth being the sworn witnesses of your most secret battles.
Don't trust anyone but the One whom you can be sold out to yet would never sell you out to the ills and evils of this world.
Trust no seed of Adam but the selfless, self-sacrificing, and unsung heroes who never takes credit for the work no earthly reward can honor,
who's taken root in the depths of the cross of Christ,
living only to yield fruits and bring glory to the Crown who reigns eternal.
Trust I say, on those possessed with the spirit of just men made perfect!
