Career politicians care about one thing and one thing only: their own paycheck and power. It's why it doesn't matter what party wins, nothing ever changes except to get worse for the middle and low classes.

It's the same bullshit up here in Canada. Trudeau is a loser and PP is a crackpot and the only difference is that Trudeau already fucked us raw through his dumb COVID choices which made his gov't take on more national debt than literally every other government since confederation combined. What a legacy. So now everyone is mad and we will likely get a new clown in office next year just to make newer dumb mistakes that will still change nothing for 99% of people.
