My Actifit Report Card: October 24 2026 || Alive And Thriving Saturday
Greetings to you all dear actifitters and happy Saturday to you all.
My fitness health walk today starts from home at Ikot Ekwere Itam to Itu road to see the doctor with my little boy who is down with typhoid fever, before proceeding to Ekparaqwa in another local government in Akwa Ibom State.
Just as it is often Said that health is wealth, my boy who is always lifely is seen looking so moody and discomforting with running nose. The mother tries administering some antibiotics but it appears it was not working accordingly as the boy was still crying and complaining of headache. I do not want to waste any time further so this morning I took him to the hospital to see the doctor.
After running some test and knowing the level of the fever, he was giving three straight injections. This administering of injections of course is not an easy task since children gets very much afraid once they see the needle. Finally after waiting and watching him for some hours, we were discharged to return tomorrow for another injection.
Once I drop him off at the mother's office, I redirect my movement to Ekparaqwa with the Mark truck load of 20 tones of granite to be delivered to a client of mine at the construction site.
The building construction is above 98% from my assessment, so the ingrid work is now left.
At the site, the driver tip the Granite and we prepare to return back to Uyo.
We bearly move up to five minutes when the truck develops issues and stops. On assessment we discovered it wasn't supplying diesel again, so the cd river battles with it and we manage to move some distance before it stops again and again.
It can be very frustrating, painful and disappointing. In fact it got me sick, tired and looking frustrating
Well, one thing I know is that nothing good comes easy, putting food on the table on a daily basis is without some ugly situation like this, the beauty of it is that it happens when we are returning.
At the end of the day i return back home walking through Ikot Ekwere road.
I have been able to record over 11,195 steps and I hereby report in my Actifit Report Card.
Nice having you all onboard the actifit fitness health sportstalk. Keep pace with the week's activities.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow..
