The isle that is called 'Schiermonnikoog' in Nederland.
Quite amazing to see how relaxed all the birds are on this island between the Wadden- and Northsea. There are beachcomber birds, like the one in the photos. And there are those in the village that pay you a visit to, outside of a restaurant. Like big crows stealling french fries from little sparrows.
Feed one and the whole flock will come in. Yes, they hunt in groups, sending in a scout first. So if you ever go there, remember that, when you are going to have diner on a terrace. As they also do not care what they drop, or when and where they do it...
Does it not taste like sand?
