Today, Google Photos reminded me that on this day two years ago, I had a short trip to the Dovbush Rocks in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. Since no travel is possible this year due to the war, we will reminisce about past trips.

Carpathian mountains are characterized by abundant vegetation, there are very few rocky places. Therefore, these rocks look very unusual and even mystical. According to legend, the people's avenger Oleksa Dovbush was here, who robbed rich lords and gave the loot to the poor.

It is not known for certain whether it happened here, because there are several locations called Dovbush Rocks in the Carpathians. Actually, it doesn't matter. The important thing is that it is very picturesque here.

Since this place has long been popular among tourists, the appropriate infrastructure has recently begun to appear here. The most interesting and most popular service is horse riding.

Here I tried riding for the first time and I must say, I really liked it. Since I am a complete novice, I was not allowed to ride by myself, I was always accompanied by an instructor who led the horse by the leash.

The children were most interested in the presence of a foal. The foal was a real star, especially since you can pet it absolutely free.

And finally, after fun in the heat, you can cool off in a mountain stream. Not everyone dares to do this, because the mountain streams are very cold, and the current here is extremely fast. I never tried it as I don't like cold water.

That was a great day trip. Thank you for traveling with me.
