In my own interest in the arts/ performing arts, lets talk about kids.
What have you done lately to grow a child's imagination and interest in arts? Take your kid, a friend's kid, a niece/nephew, or neighbor's kids to a museum. Tour the arts in your city. Take them to a play, see a band, or a puppet show. Get them into a painting or ceramics class.
Check out what the library is doing with their programs. In LA, The Broad is free. In New York City, many museums are free on certain days and offer reduced pricing. Google your city plus art installations. Buy/rent a book about an artist for them. Check out your local opera and theaters.
