True, Nigerians, the population of Nigeria or should I say a typical Nigerian was taught that we should give because there are blessings attached to giving, and should not be compelled to give because it deprives them of the blessings attached to giving, so I believe that once charity becomes compulsory, it loses that "fulfillment" aspect it gives people who do it for that.
