I started writing this post after watching a vibrant game between two teams that are NBA legends: Golden State Warriors vs San Antonio Spurs.
This game made history for being one of the largest crowds in a regular season NBA game with 68,000 people.
It was also a great show with outstanding individual performances by Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, among others.
I must admit that it was also my second day in the red. The day before yesterday I was 4/13 and yesterday I was 3/14 on all my bets. For now I only bet cryptocurrencies on PlanetofBets and Anonibet.
My new project is the one that gives the title to this post: learning, having fun and making money with fantasy basketball games.
Although I have been in the world of sports betting and arbitrage with sports odds for 8 years now, it was only in December 2022 that I had my first approach to **fantasy basketball **thanks to an invitation sent to me by a spanish friend who has a community of "criptomaniakos".
That was how I first entered Sorare, a fantasy sports game linked to the blockchain that started in 2021, at the height of the play to eaern craze.
At that time I heard about this game but I didn't get into it because I'm not a football fan and I don't master it enough to have a winning strategy.
Basketball, on the other hand, is a different experience.* It's the sport I love*. I know how it works as an entertainment industry, as a market, as a business.
That's why I decided to create my Sorare NBA account.
What I am going to share with you are more specific aspects such as my strategy, my purchases and sales of players, my weekly results and some advice or recommendations that I consider important.
With that experience I will have arguments to answer the question I asked in the title: Can you earn money in basketball fantasy?
