Yes it's very nice around where I live once you get up on the hills. Where I grew up it was very flat. When I moved here I loved the hills / views so much that I have stayed here for 10 years now.

Well there are some wild animals still around, but you'd be hard pressed to find them, other than maybe the hedgehog and squirrel which are quite common. This is a good list of mammals found in England:
