It was a very damp, misty morning in the very appropriately named village of Wetton, located in the south Peak District, England. It was our last day in the area after spending a few days there for a walking holiday with the dogs. It was fairly clear at the bottom of the valley where we parked, but very soon after climbing only a couple hundred feet, we were inside the clouds.
Using the trusty offline navigation app OSMAnd I was able to navigate our way through the mist.
On our way we came across a few fields full of cattle. They didn't look too happy.
I wouldn't being left out in this weather either!
One more climb to the highest part of the walk and the mist totally envelops us.
The trees look really spooky. It was like we were visiting another world.
