Witness Update:

No News is Good News

Not a lot has changed over the past month with the @nuthman witness and backup node. I have moved up a couple of ranks gaining back the spots that I lost in December. Since I built the new machine, I've not missed any more blocks in over a month which is great!

Changed Price Feed Script

Previously, I was using hivefeed-js (https://github.com/Someguy123/hivefeed-js) to update my price feed. However, I noticed a couple of weeks back it was unable to connect to anything and when it did, I was getting prices for hive in the mid 20 cent range which was way off. Scrolling through the witness list I could tell which other witnesses were using the same tool as their price feeds were extra low as well.

I decided to switch to using the v4vapp-hive-pricefeed by @brianoflondon which has thus far been very stable. I will continue to monitor it and make sure that my price feed remains accurate and current.

Chugging Right Along

I will continue to leave things as they are with the servers for now. If I continue to move up the rankings, I'll move forward with upgrading the hardware on my backup node. But for now, things seem to be sufficient for where I am sitting on the witness backup list. Right now I am breaking even, give or take a few dollars, with the cost of running the witness node. I am happy with that for now! Thanks to all who have voted for my witness, and I appreciate your continued support.
