I have felt this way for a long time myself. It really got crappy pretty quickly, especially around election times. Everyone would get on Facebook and talk about their candidate and trash talk the other one. Next thing you know, people are saying things to each other that they'd never say in person. So many people I know, close family members and lifelong friends, have had their relationships destroyed by social media.

It can really bring out the worst in people. It is nuts how things are these days. We used to be able to just have a conversation about things. People could agree or disagree, but it wouldn't cause them to hate each other. I don't know if we'll ever have those days back again.
