Hello Hive friends,
Today, I decided to do something simple but meaningful. After walking around my environment, I noticed scattered trash around the corners and near the waste bins. It didn’t look nice at all and I thought, why not do something about it?
So, I picked up some gloves, grabbed a waste bag and began to clean. It wasn’t a huge crowd cleanup, just me doing what I could, but it felt good. I packed up wrappers, plastic bottles, and other trash and properly disposed of them. A few people walked by and smiled...maybe next time, they’ll join in too.
As I was doing my clean up, a Barney and Friends song came to my mind which says, “Clean up, clean up, everybody everywhere. Clean up, clean up, everybody do your chore!” I smiled and began to sing it while cleaning up, felt like a fun childhood memory.
Keeping our surroundings clean may seem small, but every little effort counts. We all want to live in a healthy space, and it begins with us.
Let’s make our environment better, one clean spot at a time.
