Many years ago in the land of kafanchan, Kaduna state Nigeria. There lived a young couple who just moved to their self built home at the outsketch of the town which was still underdeveloped and not so many people lived there thus the rate of theft was very high.
One day my daddy came home with a little dog about one to two months old, with nice hair colour ( brown with a touch of black at some regions). My mom named him tiger according to her someone's name has effect on the person. At first tiger never allowed anyone come close to it, for days he refused to eat till one day one of the neighbours came around with her children and was busy annoying tiger. And for the first time since tiger came to our house he barked and we were so happy.
After then his arrogance grew, you walk close to tiger he traces your foot wear and tears it into pieces, you give him food remnant he sneezes on it and will refuse to eat even if we leave that food for days. He doesn't eat with a dirty plate, Some times when we go out of the gate to throw some food tiger rejected other dogs will be rushing it and fighting among themselves, he will just stand tall like a king looking down at them.
Little by little Tiger opened up to us and became our playing mate. Through him we do know that our Dad is on his way back because even from a distance he recognises his horn sound and immediately tries to open the gate and goes out. The funny part of it is that if eventually he goes out he chases people away both on bike and on foot, the only thing tiger doesn't chase is a car🤣🤣🤣. Tiger lived up to his name
Most times when he chases bike he won't stop until both the bike, the rider and the passenger eventually get a room apartment in the bush, then slowly it will turn back high and mighty, some young guys in the area loves how he chases him while many other hates and on several occasions to to assassinate him. On several occasions if he goes out he always comes back with one or two limping legs and some bruises yet he still won't stay at home, always looking for opportunity to run out. Which eventually leads him to being chained when ever we were about to open our gate to avoid him chasing people including children nobody is safe from tiger.
These possessiveness of his made people very wary of our street. Before the cross my gate they ensure it's not open, he's not outside or that we are not about opening the gate. Bathing tiger is another war because he will make sure that you both are wet. Did I also tell you that he loves watching movies especially the action movie? Oh yeah, tiger watches movies with us and each time there was some action, he raises his ear and eyes wide open of which only him knows what he might be thinking about at that time.
Unfortunately for us Tiger died 9 years after living with us after a brief illness. Keep resting my annoying amazing dog TIGER😍😍
