Samsung follows other technology giants and has announced a bug hunting program where it pays up to $ 200,000 for every bug found in some of its products and services.

vulnerability-hunting programs in which technology companies promise huge sums to programmers and researchers who find flaws in their products are increasingly well seen and implemented. Now, Samsung has announced a program called Mobile Security Rewards Program, where the reward reaches $ 200 thousand.

This initiative of Samsung includes several smartphones and tablets of the brand, launched since 2016 and also the services Bixby, Pay and Pass, as well as Samsung accounts, Engadget said.

Interested parties should be able to find vulnerabilities that can be exploited without physical contact with the device and without the use of third-party apps.

This is not the first such program for Samsung, which recently discovered, in a similar initiative, more than 40 crashes on its Tizen mobile operating system.
