Our NuLiving Costa Rica Experience is hosted by our core team, and other amazing facilitators including Sarah Levine!
Sarah is a clinical herbalist, writer, artist, teacher, and climate activist living in New York City. She studied Ecopsychology at Prescott College, an emerging field of thought that allowed her to explore and integrate the myriad connections between human consciousness and the natural world.
Her journey led her on the herbalist’s path, diving deep into botany and medicine making in the mountains of Appalachia and the high desert of New Mexico. She has since been infusing herbal practices into various cultural containers as an exercise in reclaiming a sense of wholeness and radical health. Through undergoing her own transformational healing process, she has come to see plant medicine as a portal into accessing higher states of consciousness and reconnecting back into the living web of nature. She offers private consultations, customized hand-crafted medicines and botanical elixirs as a gateway into deeper vitality and personal empowerment. She currently works out of The Assemblage in New York City, sharing plant-based beverages at a non-alcoholic bar while supporting the evolution of a co-working and co-living community focused on wellness.
Recently, Sarah has been bringing her passion for plants and the earth at large into an emerging social movement called Extinction Rebellion. She is engaging people in the climate conversation while addressing the mental and physical health of communities working to create resilience and frameworks for social transformation. She recognizes the culture she lives in as going through a massive phase shift out of one paradigm and into the next, and is determined to find creative and effective ways to accelerate and support this transition.
Sarah is most excited to embark on The NuMundo NuLiving Experience to connect with other change-makers while continuing to heal her body with mindfulness and embodiment practices. She will be sharing a workshop on Nootropics & Nutraceuticals: Herbs and supplements for cognitive optimization, as well as Wild Science: Opening up the doors of perception to reconnect with the living intelligence of nature.
