Got my first Barbershop Quartet today and it was quite a good pack despite the best card only being a rare. All three are unique cards for me and the Barbershop Quartet adds 175 fans along with 175 skill so it is nicely matched which means no increase in Ego.
It also adds 4 luck although I am not sure if luck matters so much in the game especially for character cards. Income modifier of +4 for what it is worth as well.
I'm having a lot of drunk fans right now which is bringing the total ego to 18%. Rather high but since the upper bound of the earnings per mission isn't anywhere close, I don't think ego matters so much. I'd still make the on average 1200 per mission without bringing the ego down to 0 I think.
Then rankings is showing me as unranked. Not sure if it is a timing thing or a bug but it happens from time to time.
