Here's a summary of predictions I made over the month of April. These are just the ones in blog posts and don't include those that were made as part of competitions. There were two sets of blog posts:
Assuming a dollar was bet on each prediction...
| Post | Total Pred | Total Correct | Gain / Loss |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10 | 5 | $0.54 |
| 2 | 10 | 3 | ($3.27) |
| 3 | 10 | 4 | $0.80 |
| Total: | ($1.93) |
Different filters were used each round. Round 2 was a disaster but i'm looking forward to carrying out a few more rounds with the filter used in round 3 and see if results continue to hold up.
When I started posting the Bundesliga predictions, they were an extension of my model used to take part in Acidyo's EPL competition. That's why the odds weren't posted till the latest post since the winner is determined by the number of correct predictions instead of bookie odds.
From a betting perspective, betting on all the matches in a Game Week is probably a bad idea.
| Post | Total Pred | Total Correct |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 9 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 6 |
| 3 | 8 | 2 |
| Total: | 52% |
Going forward, i'll track the odds as well to see if it's making money. I doubt it though.
