It is clear that security is very important for any platform to work. Hive also have security keys which are very important for use.
These keys are essential for login to our account, payout and some others purposes. We retrieves these keys in the form of html file when we create our hive account.
I have an experience for these keys as I worked in steemit and some other decentralized platforms.

Yes I know how to locate the Security Keys of Hive and it is pretty simple work. Following are some steps to locate the Security Keys of Hive:

• STEP 1
  First of all, simply click on the wallet option in our profile.

• STEP 2
  Simply click on the following option. Keys and permissions Just like that.

• STEP 3
  Now you can see all about the Security Keys of Hive. And take knowledge about the functions of these keys.

Of course, I know all the functions of the Security Keys. In detail I will tell you all about these keys. So following are the some kinds of keys and their functions:

• Private Active Key
• Private Posting Key
• Private Owner Key
• Private Memo key

So now we talk about these keys one by one.

Private Posting Key

---

First of all we talk about the Private Posting Key. We found this key in the form of PDF file. This key is use for some important things like login account, comment, posting, rebloging, upvoting and downvoting, mute any user, to follow any user.

Private Active Key

This is very important key because it uses for many purposes related to our Hive Wallet. We can use this key for followings:

• Transfer our hive token
• Conversion of HBD to hive
• Power up and powe down
• Also use for vote for witness
• For profile change
• Also place the orders on the exchange (HBD to hive, etc.)

Private Owner Key

Private Owner key is called the major key. Because it is used for some major functions of hive account.
Following are some functions of Owner key:

• Owner key is use for backup the Posting and Active key.
• It is used for the recovery of our hive account.
• Also use for decline of the voting rights.

Private Memo Key

Private Memo key is use for some limited things like encrypting and decrypting the messages and comments on hive.
Following are some functions of Private Memo Key:

• It is use for send encrypting messages.
• For view encrypting messages.

How I keep the keys safe

I completely aware from the importance of Hive keys. So I kept these keys very safe when I found the keys in the form of PDF file.
I adopt some adaptations which are following:

• 1- I keep these keys in the Hard of my Laptop.
• 2- Inthe Google Drive of my Gmail.
• 3- I also keep these keys in q written form.
• 4- I also keep the keys in the Icloud of my elder brothers Iphone.

So there is no chance to lost the keys.
