Basically, a guy gets mad at a girl because she lied to him.
A song about the situation that most guys want to avoid - friendzone.
The sole survivor wants to die but he can't. He has an ability to see into the future he avoids wars and disasters which left him the sole survivor for eternity. He does not want to go on the starship because he is the only one left of his race and his race will never live on.
This song seems to be about rock and roll having a bad reputation with older people. Rock and roll is some kind of a forbidden thing.
I'm not gonna even try to explain what is this song about because it is beyond the scope of my post... but if you are interested - start with this article on Wikipedia .
This song is a bit eerie and spooky. There are some alternative interpretations, but I believe this song is about a haunted area where the ghosts of those who Spaniards killed appear. That's why the livestock started dissapearing and that's why earlier settlers sold the land. The new owner talks how there were no problems in a decade, which is followed by his daughter disappearing. At the end of the song, it talks about how they all get found someday, in the same way - dead.
This song is about alien abduction, believe it or not. Blue Oyster Cult had some kind of an obsession with alien and extraterrestrial they even made a concept album about telling a story of an alien/human on earth.
Again, start with Wikipedia .
This is a song about a drug deal that gone bad. Three frends wanted to go West, to another state and buy some drugs, bringing with them money, bags and scales. In the end, there is a "trap" where one of the three "frends" kills another two or there are some other guys (maybe the sellers) kill the two and the third lives to tell the story - I'm not sure about the exact meaning of the ending.
This song is their most popular song(if we take YouTube views as a measure) and also my favorite. Plenty of people interpret it as being about suicide (myself included at first), but the lead singer Buck Dharma denied that he said that song deals with eternal love that transcends death. Romeo and Juliet are used to describe a couple who believes in meeting again in the afterlife.
