After using Google for well over a decade +, I've decided that it's time to start stepping away from "Big Brother".

I'm taking an active role in protecting my own privacy (and security) - and part of that means giving up tools and apps that "seemed" to make life easier before, at the cost of my privacy and personal data.

I know that it's nearly impossible to completely rid oneself of the overreaching grasp of Google, BUT, one CAN shorten their reach over their data by greatly reducing the surface area Google has in our lives.
