I never knew what it takes to be an undergraduate.
Until I was admitted with the hope of becoming a graduate.
Right from time, I have dreamt of wearing the gown.
Not the color matters, either it's black or brown.

Everything I experienced was either a curse filled with blessings.
Or a torment and frustration about real life's lessons.
Things I can't reasonably fathom with my brain.
Years of numerous running, walking or trekking in the rain.

I was told and I ponder, "No pain, no gain"
But why do I have to go out of my lane.
Today's lectures is boring and hectic,
Who knows if tomorrow will be rough and thick.

At last, with hard work, prayer, and perseverance.
I graduated with joy and happiness with endurance.
I am an over comer, a survival and a conqueror.
I came, I saw and I am a gallant conquistador.
