Sometime ago, I was being punched by the situations around me. I find it very difficult to raise the shield of faith. I have expectations but I am not seeing them coming into play. The more I wait, the more I grow tired. So i was just there, letting every situation punch me. My doubts increase, my prayer life reduce and my fellowship with the word reduce.
So i woke up quite early one morning and my heart was seriously pressed with two scriptures. I tried to ignore but at one point I couldn't anymore because my heart was seriously heavy. The first scripture is Hebrews 11:1 and it reads " FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN" I read it over and over again and it made a lot of sense to me when n i read it especially when I read it aloud. Not only that, these words also served as medicine to my soul. The second scripture was Acts 12:5 and it reads "PETER THEREFORE WAS KEPT IN PRISON: BUT PRAYER WAS MADE WITHOUT CEASING OF THE CHURCH UNTO TO GOD FOR HIM" Yes the church was praying for Peter not just praying but rather PRAYING WITHOUT CEASING. BELOVED, STAND IN FAITH AND PRAY WITHOUT CEASING TILL YOU SEE THAT WHICH YOU SO MUCH DESIRE COME INTO ACCOMPLISHMENT.
