To a large extent, our actions in life are been affected by the encounters we have had. If a man faces a lion and overcome, his action will be affected. You will realise that he will begin to act fearless. This is not because of anything else but because of the encounter he has had.
As a Christian, there is an encounter you will have with the king of Glory that will increase your faith,an encounter that will change situations in your life, an encounter that will make men wonder what has come over you. There is an encounter you will have with the king of Glory that will make you give all your life for the kingdom of God.
In Acts 4 when peter and John were arrested and brought before leaders, elders and teachers of the law,after Peter speech,the Bible says in verse 12 that *they were astonished by the boldness of peter and john considering that they were uneducated and untrained men. They recognized also, that they had been with Jesus".
Listen, there is an encounter you will have that will cover the lapses of your life, your weakness will go missing and you will leave men in awe. There is an encounter you will have with Jesus that you can not stop speaking about what you have seen and heard. When the Samaritan woman encountered Jesus, she ran to the town and began to gave her testimony. She couldn't hold it back.( see John 4).
When the man born blind encountered Jesus, he became the talk of the town because there is a change of situation.
In Acts 7:55 Stephen saw the Glory of God and Jesus at God's right hand, in verse 56 he said "look!" "I see the heavens opened and the son of man standing at the right hand of God. An encounter that made not to fear death.
PRAYER: Lord give us an encounter with your glory, an encounter that will increase our faith, an encounter that will make it impossible for us to withhold the truth in us, an encounter that will change situations in our life
