It was more like what I was expecting at Anfield last night but sincerely, I never expected United not to have at least one goal, it was just so embarrassing to know that Liverpool successfully scored four and United couldn't secure even one.
If might sound funny but scoring at least a goal could have lifted the atmosphere a bit even for the fans and imagine Ronaldo who just lost a child seeing that kind of a match last night, well, I'm quite convinced that he wouldn't have watched nor expected more like a miracle from his team last night.
Before highlighting a lot that has successfully appeared to be United's major problems, I feel there's a need for me to emphasis on the fact that Liverpool is so blessed having both Salah and Mane, and for me, the goal that involved both of them last night was one of the best thing I saw in that match, the assist from Mane we everything!
Salah has successfully had 34 goal contributions in the EPL for Liverpool this season and somehow I feel he's already the EPL player of the season, there could be anything more but on personal opinion, I think he owns it already.
It wasn't even like United didn't had the chance to at least secure a draw last night but like I heard Owen and Scholes said in an interview after the match, United never played like they were after anything neither did they play like they were interested. Owen made the fact clear on how they let go of the ball easily without fighting quite hard to get it back.
Personally, I had said it earlier before that United's problem isn't about any individual player in any direct nor from the Manager but it's a king of problem that could even be tied to the owners of the team and this leaves me eventually with a lot of doubt if United is really going to heal fast at all.
Following the defeat at Anfield that was very shameful to any phase of Manchester United, I was very interested in knowing what could be more like a way out for United next season and I found a lot of hope in things that were discussed in this show.
I don't know that name of the show but then, they had these two United fans and even these guys helped the realized that the team doesn't have a positive mentality anymore and that was why it had been difficult to see the best of any players bought into United after Sir. Fergus on left, and that really made sense to me but then, Erik has the job already but can he actually revive the right mentality for the team?.
This is a question I don't know how to answer. Some things on this show that were discussed and I agreed with was one that Ronaldo is too big to be present in this current United and of United wants a way forward, they should let him off by summer, I really do agree.
Another thing they said that caught my interest was the team should allow Erik to buy players for himself considering the fact that he's a manager with a play pattern and a highly competitive spirit.
Liverpool really humiliated United so much this season and it feels like, for a team to had humiliated United like that, it just doesn't make sense if they go without any trophy this season.
I'll just see back an watch but what do you think United would become with Erik as a manager next season?
