Good Day Friends and Football Lovers, 馃
I thought on this day I would be writing about my favourite team (Manchester United) but I must say I was sincerely disappointed at our performance last weekend, it was just so embarrassing and that's for that, let's move on.....
On my previous post, I highlighted my interest in the Seria A, it's been a league that I just do admire under the weather, funny how I do prefer the league even to the Spanish laliga but that would be a story for another day, let's talk Milan!
I was so happy AC Milan won the match last night, though I love the two Milans even much more than any other teams in the Seria A but for some reasons I really can't backup, I just badly want AC to claim the title this season and it seems to be a tough thing to happen.
Even before last night's match, I already did my findings and decided to tag Verona as the easiest match AC Milan had left and when Verona took the lead in the first half yesterday, it was so disturbing but then, the comeback was beautiful!
Watching some of AC Milan's players performances and abilities it seems to me that they can only be at their best at the Seria A because the strengths and physicality they display in their performances are just the true definition of Seria A's Tradition and I also took my time to check the profiles of AC Milan's starting line up yesterday and I was shocked to realize that many of these players are twenty five and below which means the team would still be strong together for at least another three seasons.
The winning last night took AC Milan back on top with two points ahead of Inter but sustaining this stay at the top is something that really baffles me. With my hope and wish for AC Milan winning the title this season, I am sincerely scared for AC Milan considering the fixtures left in hand.
AC Milan have got to play Atalanta next, even though it's a home match and Milan had won the first leg earlier this season, it still seems like a big threat because same Atalanta is also trying to secure a ticket for the UEL campaign next season. I sincerely can't say Milan could win the match and a draw isn't so good either considering the fact that Inter is better with goal difference.
Inter Milan on the other hand would be taking on Cagliari and Sampdoria, these two teams, I do not really see them as a big threat for an Inter trying to win the league, definitely not Cagliari, Sampdoria could try to make it a tough experience for Inter Milan like they did in the first leg but that Inter wouldn't win the match? I'm not so sure!
It's definitely a tough moment for both Milans but I confidently know and believe that if AC Milan could successfully take down Atalanta, then they own the title for this season!
