EPL matches today were really tight but predictable. It was quite easy to predict that Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham were not going to lose their matches and it happened just like that but for me, the dramas that came with the matches were just too much to handle.

UNITED'S SLOPPY PERFORMANCE.

As a fan of Manchester United, I was really disappointed by my team's performance today. The game play was so annoying at some point. It was fine to have committed an own goal but the worst of it all is not attacking enough to win the match.

Manchester United played matured immediately after Southampton took the lead but all a sudden they went back into their shell just because they had an equalizer. I said some when United won with five goals last weekend, it's not about keeping clean sheets as far at the two Manchesters are concern. The traditional play pattern of the Manchesters is to dominate a match by scoring more goals not by defending or setting traps for penalties.

Manchester City understands this traditional play pattern so well but with United, it seems the tradition left with Sir, Alex Ferguson. The force United came in with in the second half was beautiful, they played like a typical Manchester and that got them the equalizing goal. Ole Gunner did well with the substitution but where the complacency came from was something I couldn't fathom at all. That act of complacency by United today really spoilt my mood.

Pogba was also wonderful today. Aside from the slim assist he had, he also had some clinical touches that are worth seeing again but on the other hand, Bruno Fernandes got frustrated too early today. I've noticed him, whenever he gets frustrated, we just have to forget about getting something spectacular from him but I'm not sure the coach knows that.

One of the few fascinating things happening with united now is the fine form Greenwood has. He's been playing so well and his performance has not really made it so obvious that United needs Rashford and Cavani. I guess Cavani should be available next weekend. I'm sure people are already talking quite much about Sancho now but it's not so right from my own perspective. He's still new around here and he needs time to learn how physical and flexible EPL is.

have you imagined the combination of Sancho, Cavani, and Rashford upfront?

With no doubt, it's really going to be a deadly threat if United gets these three beautiful attackers to start many matches this season with Bruno and Pogba behind them. If this happens often this season, one thing I am sure of is Manchester United scoring more goal even than they did last season.

United shared the points with Southampton and that's not totally a bad result. Let's see through Spurs also....

SPURS THE NEW KING OF SLIM VICTORIES!

Have you watched Tottenham this season at all?

This is not just a mere talk but Tottenham is playing like a hungry and deadly underdog this season. The confident performance they pull against Manchester City last weekend was really inspiring and encouraging even for the coach.

It's not a news that Nuno (Spurs Manager) knows how to knock Manchester City. He did that confidently, and for him to have screwed Wolvehampton his former team today shows how much potentials he's willing to pull out of the team by and with force.

I was definitely not shocked to see Harry Kane on the pitch for Tottenham today. After Tottenham's performance against Manchester City, I knew somehow he was going to fallback in, it might just be for this season alone and he could leave the club next season in search of a greener pasture but he's definitely going to take this season up with Tottenham again. Now the question I have see.....

Can we experience the Son and Kane beautiful duo this season again?

The relationship between Kane and Son has been something the majority like to watch including myself but in the absence of Kane, Son has been pairing well with both Ali and Lucas. We really can't compare the relationship Son is currently having with Ali and Lucas to that he use to have with Kane, it's very different and having back the Son and Kane we've had for some years back would really make watching Tottenham's match more valuable.

Ali had a fine penalty shootout today and Tottenham's defense was strong enough to keep the victory right from the very first ten minutes of the match. I must confess, that was actually very good of Tottenham. It seems they now have a very sensitive defense this season and that would do them so much good peradventure Kane and Son get to be so good with goal scoring this season.

The league is still fresh and they table can always turnaround. Let's just keep watching!
