Hello Fellas,
Firstly, I would like to express my condolences towards Ronaldo and his family's loss recently, it's really painful. He got a good news just few days ago and now it's another sad one but I pray for more strength and comfort for him and his family members. 🙏
No lies, Benzema has been outrightly the best striker for this season considering the nature and the circumstances of the many of the goals he had scored this season but these days, I personally do not even understand what the criteria to win the Ballon'd Or these days anymore.
With Benzema's performances lately, it's been a great speculation on the Internet that it's time for him to at least secure the World best player award for the first time. He's quite open to two major trophies (Laliga and Champions league) this season and personally, I feel if he ever gets to win the both this season, he should definitely win the Ballon'd Or but that's just my own view, can't really say for the Award Body.
The match against Sevilla, some hours before the match, I did worked on some stats and came to the conclusion that Real won the league already if they could knock Sevilla out but when I saw Sevilla with the two goals lead, I did lost my faith in Madrid winning instantly knowing full well that Sevilla isn't really one of those easy teams to score against.
Personal opinion, I also think Sevilla has gathered and secured a tough team too but Real Madrid remains the greatest shocker of the season and this tells how important having a strong depth in a team is.
I remembered when this season was about to start, I said something and even made a post that I feel Real Madrid won't go far this season if the likes of Bale and Hazard aren't fit but then, coming to this point in time, I don't anyone to tell me how wrong I am.
The likes of Benzema, Vinicius, and Rodrygo indeed took their time to develop their attacking skills and Vinicius shocked me the most, I could still remember when I knew Vinicius to be that lad that just knows how to run and dribble but doesn't know the goal post exists but these days, Vinicius hasn't just scoring goals but he's been scoring some masterclasses goals just like the Brazilian legends did.
I understand that we all do have our different opinions and preferences and I personally do believe Real Madrid isn't the best football team in Europe at the moment but for a fact, Benzema is currently my best candidate for the Ballon D'Or and I hope he wins with. As far as I am concerned, he's won the Laliga this season already and hopefully he could win the Champions league too and for me that seals it all along side his personal achievement for the season.
Do you think Benzema deserves it like I do or who do you think deserve it?
