I know you have seen someone become successful and all of a sudden you seems not to understand the person again. You will hear things like, he has change, he is no longer picking call or checking up on others as he use to when he was not that wealthy.
At times you see someone who use to be so humble, become so arrogant , no longer picking call, and we all say that money has changed them. But does money truly change someone ? The response is yes and no.
Now let's understand that money comes with its own pressure and problems. The truth is the moment the money starts coming, the expectations on you will be high. Family , friends , enemies, relatives and even the community at large will have great expectations on you. People will come with request for you to solve their problems without thinking if you have solved yours. Everyone will automatically think that you have no problem and that all your financial needs has been met, not knowing that the more your income, the more your expenses will increase.
Factors like this will make some people who are wealthy behave strict, rejects some calls thinking they are calling to make request and without asking questions we might end up concluding that they are and money has changed them.
In the other hand, the truth remains that some people are naturally bad and wicked, so the true character of these set of people comes out when ones money comes in. Especially if they are people who have never really tasted hardship, it might become difficult for them to understand when the other person is in need and their ego will drastically increase. So money can reveal ones character in two ways , either good or bad.
So let's see money as a magnifying glass. It can magnify , kindness, wickedness, ego, pride etc. Money can strengthen generosity , because there are people who are naturally generous but the money is not there, money can as well expose greed. It all depends on the individual. That's why I will always say that character matters a lot
So to this end, I will say in all situation or level that you find yourself, remain humble, kind and good. Help those that you can with a clear and clean intention.
