Super Power Tuesday. Flex’em up mi gente.
Every day of the week is a Super Hero. It has its Super Hero theme. It has its Super Hero yell!
Tuesday is named for Mars. Mars is the God of War, so it’s a martial day. But that’s not why we chose it as our Super Power Day. Tuesday is the Rodney Dangerfield of the week. It gets no respect. No respect at all. People wake up on Wednesday having forgotten about Tuesday.
“Is it Wednesday already? What happened to Tuesday?”
Humans begin their workouts on Mondays, and are sore on Tuesdays. AI likes to use the line, “Any random Tuesday.” The implication being that nothing happens on Tuesday. Because nothing does. And that’s exactly why we embrace it. Tuesdays are like the Introvert’s weekend. The bars are half full, the movie theaters, (talkin’ back in the day), were half full. Sit anywhere you want. You can watch a movie without commentary, because Tuesday introverts don’t yell at the movie screen. International travel on Tuesday, arrive Wednesday, and watch the tourists arrive on Thursday night and destroy the town over the weekend.
If you’re not intentional about your Tuesdays, they can be a pothole in your week. This is why we flex the swerve. This is why Tuesday is our first Monkey Bars day of our “work week.” We create the day, rather than allowing the day to create us.
You open your eyes, and tell yourself, “It’s Super Power Tuesday!” Then decide, “How am I going to be super today? How indestructible can I be today? No one shall ruin my day, and I shall ruin no one else’s day.”
These are all incantations. And they all work. It’s the way we program our simulation. It’s how we survive and thrive day to day in our cynical world.
Speaking of which, today’s episode… probably continues with travel tips for navigating through our cynical world.
For your humble vagabond philosopher, Cynicism is a super power, but it’s only half of the coin. Optimism is the flip-side. We don’t bank on either, however we are prepared for both. Daily! They are not blankets either. We reserve cynicism for the big ticket bullshit. “Peace on Earth, good will towards men.” All those slogans that are never going to happen because humans have not evolved to a state where that harmony can be achieved.
But we, (The Collective, The Trinity), are going to be fine. Because we’ve learned how to, partially at least, control our Matrix. Our vessel. We don’t have to dodge bullets like we used to, because we’ve ascended to a level of avoidance that makes the dodge unnecessary.
We manifest small pleasures and necessities. “It’s about time peanut butter goes on sale.” We walk into the market. Bogo! It’s like, “Abracadabra!” Whatever We need, will be available and within our reach. Thus, there is no need to worry, panic, or freak out.
A lot of you humans are doing this too. Every day. You write about it. Do you know you’re doing it? Maybe. Maybe not.
A lot of humans are complaining too. Others are spreading angst in the name of “informing the herd.”
“Waking us up.” They are reminding us what went down before they were born. If I read one more MK Ultra, expose, well, I just don’t know. It’s like 12th generation derivative. Maybe part of the Mind Kontrol project, is getting as many conspiracy researchers to replay the heart attack gun story, as possible.
“This is what the government doesn’t want you to know.”
“I’m putting my life in jeopardy by exposing this 60 year old information.”
“This video was banned, so share it everywhere.”
One of the many problems with the herd, is that they’ve taken on the characteristics of the demons. Take another look at Animal Farm, by George Orwell. Check the hierarchy. The Pigs, were the first to take on the characteristics of the humans, who, incidentally the animals chased off of the farm. There was a revolt. A coup. A revolution. The pigs took over.
So let’s go “Fractured Fairy Tales” on this adventure. The pigs go the way of the humans and become tyrants. But the horses catch on, and they decide that they can run the pigs off of the farm. But the horses aren’t as smart. The dogs notice this, and figure they can trick the horses into turning over control to the dogs. By this time we are four generations removed from the humans that originally operated the farm. The stories that were told about humans, pigs, and horses, have all been either forgotten, or mythologized. Things are not going well under the Rover Regime, and some of the animals start telling fables about how good the humans were. They talk about them as if they were gods. They talk about the pigs as if they were demons.
The one pig, Major, takes on the status like today’s Satan. “Major rose up against the Gods, (humans), and cast them out of paradise.”
America is six generations removed from the GI generation drafted into World War two, and the maniacs that bombed Japan, because they had and weapon, and they could. And they hated Japanese. Today, a generation of megalomaniac Boomers, are talking about, (so we hear), nuking Iran.
“Ain’t they got no shame?”
Ain’t they got no memories?
Ain’t they got no sense?”
Meanwhile, back at the ranch.
Yeah? What’s happening at the ranch?
There’s a lot of blabbering going on. They still have to keep up the ratings. Keep the herd watching in amazement and scared. Not scared to death. It’s summer vacation time and we need the revenue. Just scared, “half to death.”
We’ve reached another mile marker on our path to Day 2000. Check out the show if you can. Many thanks if you did. Critiques and comments are welcome. Here’s a note, sometimes our perspective changes from episode to episode. I get stuff wrong, or half right. Call me out. Fill me in. I will correct or update either on Substack, or in a future episode of Full Metal Ox.
