Iapetus is the third largest moon around saturn and makes it to the 11th place in the solar system. Most notably is probably its two toned look. It has a equatorial ridge and is not in hydrostatic equilibrium.

This picture shows the NGC 3256 discovered by the hubble space telescope in the constellation of Vela which is approximately 100 light years away and one of the brightest galaxies in the infrared spectrum.

NGC 6744 is an intermediate spiral galaxy about 30 million light-years away in the constellation Pavo. It is thought to be one of the most Milky Way-like spiral galaxies in our immediate vicinity, with

In observational astronomy an Einstein ring, also known as an Einstein–Chwolson ring, is the deformation of the light from a source (such as a galaxy or star) into a ring through gravitational lensing

This beautiful picture is brought to you by Hubble. The space telescope that might have brought a lot of the most fascinating pictures of space. More on the lagoon nebula: Have a great day!

Located in the Southern Hemisphere, NGC 3324 is at the northwest corner of the Carina Nebula (NGC 3372), home of the Keyhole Nebula and the active, outbursting star Eta Carinae. The entire Carina Nebula
