So we know that steemit has an downvote button in the upper right corner as little flag.
But that is nothing like the YouTube downvote button (that is just my humble opinion)
So in the YouTube you can downvote and the creator of the content is not as much impacted as it is here. In YouTube you can simply downvote just because you don't like an creator or you do not agree with him. In here that is not like this. Is more like Facebook based system. From my point of view that is much better working system as the community can think on their own if the content is good for them and are not influenced by others as much they are on YouTube.
For example:
When you see an video on YouTube that has a lot of downvote you will probably skip it, while on steemit where are only upvotes there is much higher possibility that you will read the Blog of someone even that its upvote score is lower then someone else. Its like on Facebook if someone has less likes on picture it doesn't mean his picture is crap.
Well that also has an down side, because you have much harder time to find the content that is very good out of average upvotes count. Well the best content has the most upvotes, but that doesnt mean that content with far less upvotes is worse maybe just few people read it.
I think because of this the community is much happier as there is no negative filling that someone downvoted your Blog and therefore you have to downvote his and so on (we and up in endless lop)
For conclusion i hope they will never introduce an downvote button like on YouTube as the community will stay much happier.
