Your point is well taken yet is it fair to transfer to the new chain all accounts, all the content created by those accounts which brings value to the chain yet not bring a fork of their tokens? There is not a credible blockchain fork known to me that has not kept the integrity of the chain up to the point when the fork kicks in. Even Etherium which intended to remove the creation of a smart contract from the new chain did so by rolling back time to moments prior to the smart contract's creation keeping all historical transactions of the chain intact.

Sure 10 of your friends playing with your own little chain, who cares. Yet if you plan on competing with the chain you are forking from on the scale of BTC/BCH then you should at least have the decency of removing all traces of those you do not want to include in your fake history of the chain.... or start afresh with a brand new chain which has no history. Oh yeah that would mean not bringing your stake along. Can't have that can we. 🙄
