Tron/Tronix (TRX), a solution for a decentralized Internet

The majority of Internet actors (Google, Facebook...), because of the free services they offer, keep and sell their users' data. As a result of this finding is born Tron, a decentralized protocol based on blockchain technology for the entertainment industry, which aims to make its users the real masters of the data they publish on the network and thus enable them to exercise total control over it.

In this sense, and since Tron is intended to be a system for content delivery of which storage is distributed, instead of being stored on servers as is the case with these Internet giants, data published on the Tron network is stored on the computers of network users who wish to do so, in exchange for the network's own currency, the Tronix (TRX).

Several currencies are currently used on the network:

the Tronix(TRX) is the core currency of the Tron network, in the sense that the value of the other two tokens in the network depends on its value. Once the mainnet is launched, scheduled for the first quarter of 2018, this ERC20 token will be exchanged for Tron, which will then have its own blockchain.
The TRON20 is a token that can be customized by a content creator and offered to network users. It can in a sense be compared to ERC20 tokens but which, unlike the ERC20 tokens based on the Ethereum blockchain, will work this time on the Tron blockchain. These tokens will have a price on the market like any other currency and will be able to be traded.
The TronPower (TP) is a token that will determine the influence of the user on the network. The more it holds, the more its influence and privileges (voting rights in particular) on the network grow. It is obtained by locking its TRXs and is neither transferable nor saleable. In addition, the user who owns it will see its number of TP grow passively, tokens that will be offered to him according to the quantity he has hold in reward of his faith in the project.

Moreover, Tron wants to be a project that is built on the very long term. Indeed, several steps have been defined by the team behind the project to define little by little the functionalities that will be brought to it:

(Current) Exodus (08/2017 - 12/2018): implementation of the network and distributed data system.
Odyssey (01/2019 - 06/2020): the observation that the number of views or like on a content usually defines the level of remuneration that the creator of this content receives is not appropriate for the Tron team, which is considering the possibility for users to send instead of TRXs to these content creators.
Great Voyage (07/2020 - 07/2021): possibility for content creators to set up ico/ito.
Apollo (07/2021 - 03/2023): incorporation of TRON 20 tokens on the Tron blockchain and thus the possibility to customize them by content creators.
Star Trek (04/2023 - 09/2025): possibility for content creators to develop games on the blockchain Tron.
Eternity (09/2025 - 09/2027): setting up of a participative financing system for the video game industry.

Mining

Trx mining doesn't designate the same process as one used by the bitcoin for example. By mining, this is about network data storage, an acntion that is rewarded by TRX tokens.

Network speed : ~1500 transactions/s.
One transaction is confirmed after only one block discovery.

- 35% for the Tron fondation
- 15% for the pre-sale
- 10% for the various contributors and investors of the project (such as Peiwo, the first Chinese entertainment platform based on the Tron blockchain).
