It's been a while since I have posted something that's not simply my actifit post. Today I thought I would get my keyboard into action and write about cryptoshots. I have been playing this most days now, for around a month and am enjoying it. For those that don't know it, its a 3D first person shooter game, developed by @keys-defender. you can find a link to their website here: https://www.crypto-shots.com/.

My Inventory

Firstly, for those that don't know, you need characters, ammo, and weapons to play the game. I stay on Level-0 which is a very basic level, but I enjoy it nevertheless. My inventory is below:

All of my NFTs are on wax, but you can also buy NFTs on Hive. As you can see I have all the weapons (Base Gun, Laser Gun, Laser Shotgun, Laser Rifle) and I have almost maxed out the ammo as well but found I didnt need more ammo to win level-0 on Medium which I played. You will also see I have 3 characters and a skin, the reason for the skin is so that I can teleport to the same location each time, and the level-1 characters are so I can play level 1 too (more on that later)

Finally I have the condenser which is needed so that I teleport in the same spot each match.

Which Level and Difficulty

I found that medium difficulty was the best suited to me, as I can kill large enemy with just one shot. if I switch it to hard, I need to hit it once with the laser rifle and once with the base gun, this is lots of fiddling around, and I often lose whilst I am doing that.

So I tried level 1 as well, but I didn't realise that all the weapons were different which meant I had to buy all new weapons. I decided to just play on level-0 for now here is a screenshot just after killing an enemy

Earnings

It can't be a crypto game if you don't earn anything, and each enemy you kill you earn boom, which is doom on hive. I simply stake all my earnings, in a staking contract so I can continue playing, but sometimes I collect my boom to pay for food and gas (maybe the subject of another post). So far I have 500 Boom staked, but looking to grow that with each game (I usually earn about 20 Boom per day)

Final Word

So I play this game because its fun and enjoyable, not for the earnings, so I'm probably not optimising the investment, but sometimes games aren't about that. having said that with careful purchases, I feel there is opportunity for return, but nothing to make a living off, but why not get paid having fun.
