I post quite a bit about the Kron llama combination. This is perhaps because I am jealous of those who own a Kron, as I don't have one.
This makes it all the more sweeter when I happen to beat a Kron, especially when its being used in combination with a llama (which I have)
I could see that my opponent usually plays the llama and Kron in the last position. this tactic means that Kron will likely be the last standing monster and receive 18 health with a 6 heal each round.
I thought about a tactic of taking out the Kron before the last stand with lots of sneak monsters, or I could put up a magic defense and endure the Kron with last stand.

I also had an affliction monster in there to prevent the heal, and I had lots of firepower all centered on the first position. 12 attack in all.
Well.. I managed to beat their first tank in the first round, now all that was left was to annihilate the other weaker monsters
And now comes the Kron.. with its 6 healing strength
the affiliation was no good, because of the cleanse each round the affliction would be removed, but Kron was no match for the 12 attack per round firepower, which quickly disposed of him.
In the end a comfortable win
I wonder with the introduction of chaos legion if the Kron llama combination will be weakened? perhaps a faster affliction monster, perhaps some more magic void or magic reflect monsters. Who knows (well I am sure some do by now because its only a couple of weeks away).
I am sure on one thing.. the introduction of a new set is going to hake things up.. and we will all need to learn new techniques.
