Are you familiar with Vin Armani and his assertions that we've entered "The Dim Age"? He describes it as a part of the human cycle dominated by magical thinking, a decline in the application of logic & reason, and the ascendance of a mindset that he likes to call "The Church of Woke" controlling the culture. Another aspect of it is that people will steadily become less informed & knowledgeable, even though an abundance of knowledge will still be widely available, unlike in the Dark Ages (hence the "Dim" Age).

His take is that this is more or less part of the natural cycle of human history, so fighting it head on is much less practical (and much more dangerous) than finding & living in those places & communities that are least exposed to this cultural trend and have a very strong sense of traditions (whether religious or cultural). Not sure I fully ascribe yet to the "inevitable" part, but so far the evidence and trends are not proving him wrong. Regardless whether it's true or not, I think it's very hard to go wrong by locating oneself in a strong community that is well removed from the toxic culture (whether culturally, geographically, or both).
