I seem to remember there was one (maybe two?) container ships going from China to the West Coast that hit bad seas last month and lost a lot of containers in the ocean. Combine that with the general disruption to trade from lockdowns, and it's not surprising to see shortages of that in the States.

I can tell you they certainly haven't stopped MAKING cheap China-made crap. We're still getting our share of it here in Mongolia... 😏
